Plot : The film, based on a Suchitra Bhattacharya tale, is about an ambitious and obsessive mother (Sohini), whose world begins and ends thinking about and controlling the life and career of her son (Samadarshi). She doesn't want him to be laidback and ambitionless as her hubby (Bratya). So, right from tucking her son's T-shirt to deciding that he should aspire to go to IIT, Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard - Sohini confuses her own "sacrifices" for Samadarshi's betterment and ends up trespassing into his life. As a result, she unknowingly starts drifting from her son, who revolts to have a life of his own.
